What really happened, and this goes back to your other article on political correctness, is that in order not to hurt anyone's feelings, schools dropped the standards on what's expected of students.

We know, because we teach entrepreneurialism in integrated high schools, and students work together - regardless of race or any other attributes - and create businesses for themselves. What you find is that raising the expectation of how a student should perform - operate - calls them forth to be great.

You can see what I mean in The Power Within video on our website: www.EntrepreneursNOW.org.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9871253.post-85055777647574025822008-10-11T17:09:00.000-04:002008-10-11T17:09:00.000-04:00I read this and I have to say that I agree with yo...I read this and I have to say that I agree with you about the schools.
I went to school In the 5o's and I married while still in the 50's.We did have really good schools and teachers

My children went to school during forced intergration.By the time they got into highschool, we had to have police on campus for many reasons.

I am very thankful that I do not have children going to school now...

As far as the churches, we have some wonderful black people In our church, and they do sit together for the most part, but I must admit I have not visited other churches to see where they sat.

Life has changed so much since I was a child that I look back at those days of outhouses, windmills, farm animals and no TV's when we actually talked to one another! ate fresh fried chicken every sunday, wore sunbonnets, and actually played outside,

Now all of my kids kids play computer games instead of going outside...

Politically I had little time for until I became a widow at the age of 59 years old, after discovering the internet.

So I can see exactly where you are coming from.NannyKarenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01345425414629761075noreply@blogger.com
