Coming Soon! A Free and Democratic Iran!

I’m revisiting the Iranian problem, today. Why? Because it is a very real… and a very pressing problem. Iran has the potential to change the world in a few seconds and they intend to do so. The US cannot allow that to happen.

Iran cannot be allowed to build an Atomic bomb. It’s as simply as that! The moment they complete a bomb, everything changes. That cannot be allowed to happen.

Look, Iran will give the bomb to the terrorists. An Atomic Al Qaeda? Yes! It’s that serious! Would you care to guess where the terrorist’s will place their bombs to set them off? You got it! The good ole USA!

After an atomic bomb explosion in America, everything changes; the America we have known will cease to exist with the first fireball. One bomb will make the Twin Towers look like a Sunday School Picnic! Dealing with the loss of life will be staggering enough, but what follows... will simply drive many Americans insane.

And then… there will be the governments reaction. If you thought the Patriot Act was/is bad, you ain’t seen nothing yet! “Martial Law”, or something very near it, will be imposed immediately. It will no longer be Big Brother looking over your shoulder; it will be Big Brother… with a gun!

Freedom of movement within the states will be halted. You and I will need a National ID card to be able to do anything. I mean anything. Just driving to work will be monitored and you will be asked to produce that card at nearly every stop during your day. And that’s just the little annoyances

We can, and we will, destroy Iran. I mean, utterly! As the first nation to use nuclear weapons against America, an example will be made of them. Their country will become a sea of molten glass.

The US is about to get that dreaded 911 call from the United Nations (again) and the European Union. In fact, I think the call has already been placed. Rumors abound that US military assets are being moved about and plans are being finalized with Eastern European nations to prepare them for the imminent military action against Iran.

Iran has pushed the envelope too far. Iran must know that If they continue to poke the tiger with their pointed stick, sooner or later, that tiger will get fed up and will attack and consume them. Iran is about to be consumed.

The world is quickly re-aligning itself. It appears, at first glance, the new coalition of nations will be the US, Great Britain, Japan, and India.

The correct Administration, is in place, to carry through on plans to neutralize Iran. The Bush Administration will not hesitate and they will not stumble. They will get it done! President Bush does not make idle threats, or empty threats. As a matter of fact, he doesn’t threaten at all. Iran has been warned.

Iran is mistaken if it believes it can hold the world hostage with its oil. If Iran goes up against the US, and it’s friends, it will lose not only it’s oil, but it’s country as well. Iran will be free and democratic, when the smoke and dust clears.

boy oh boy, you are a paranoid moonbat aren't you. Iran wants to use nuclear energy for electric generation and to have a "Japan option". Japan and other countries have the ability if attacked that with a couple of months they could have a bomb. You are right that if Iran gets nukes everything changes, we won't be able to bully them like we did Iraq. They would only seek to defend themselves from imperialistic leaders, like our republican party, and if to use the republican theory, "The enemy of my enemy is my friend" Well the republicans are my mortal enemy and the mortal enemy of any true freedom loving American. One of the reasons we went to Iraq was to get a base from which to attach Iran. If Iran is so bad, why does Haliburton still do business with them? Why do we still give contracts to Halliburton? Remember Bush said we will not do business with anyone who does business with terrorists. Iran is a sovern nation and should be allowed to persue nuclear energy, shoot it's 1 less nation consuming oil, better for me and my wallet.

Mr. Frank, I simply cannot believe you actually believe what you wrote above.

How can you side with someone who wishes to destroy your country and kill your family?

If you truly believe that, with all due respect, sir, you need help, professional help.

Is power the only thing that matters to democrats? They seem to go out of their way to prove that it is... every day.

They preach love, and tolerance, and concern for all mankind... so long as you believe what they believe and bow to their command.

Well, Frank, those days are over.

The American electorate woke up, about ten years ago. and they see thru the thin facade you Democrats have used all these years, with help from your friends in the mainstream media. It won't work anymore. They understand you guys are power hungry and that you will do anything to regain power. They're going to stop you. No, they HAVE stopped you!

2/3rds of Americans support the President's evesdropping on international phone calls and even say they wish he had the power to do it domestically. I guess they are crazy, too, huh? Or, could it be, they live in the real world and understand that we are AT WAR and we must protect ourselves or we die!

I feel sorry for you, sir. Your anger is eating you alive. Sad.

I can't imagine the US mounting an Iraq style attack against Iran right now.

Military forces are depleted and equipment worn out. Iran is several times larger than Iraq, more united, and has a stronger military than Iraq.

The US can't pull out of Iraq without that country going into a civil war -- and likely won't be allowed by Iraq's new government to attack Iran -- which has supported many of Iraq's new politicians.

There is no way for the US to mount a land war right now.

Expect the US to use airstrikes to take out nuclear plants -- similar to Operation Desert Fox did to Iraq in 1998.

Well, then you better tell Haliburton, Lockheed Martin and the rest to get out of Iran now. Because they have MAJOR business interests there despite Iran being part of the 'Axis of Evil.'

You see, the difficulty with democracy is that sometimes we don't like the leaders that are elected. Iran was on it's way to electing a more moderate, secular leader until we invaded Iraq and then the two countries, which formerly hated each other, had a common interest- keeping the U.S. out.

In other words, the U.S. played chicken and lost now it's in the awkward position of having to sell the idea that now Iran needs to be wiped off the map. And then who? Syria? Egypt? We certainly don't like the results of the Egyption elections.

Iran does not currently have nuclear capabilities. Do they want to? Of course because the nations that are taken seriously on the world stage, have such capabilities. So, the key is to prevent them from obtaining nuclear components for military purposes- and of course, the people most likely to provide them with such compenents is our wonderful ally, Vladimir Putin, whom Bush said he could tell was a "good man" by "looking into his eyes."

Team Bush needs to use some diplomacy here- I know, its not their strong point but contrary to the neocons assertions, diplomacy does not equal "coddling terrorists."

Agreed. However, I expect there will be some Special Forces on the ground, in advance of the bombing aircraft, lighting up targets with lasers. Plus, more Special Forces will be required for direct attacks on some of the more hardened targets deep underground.

Do not be taken in by the Left's downplaying our military's depth. We have been planing fighting two wars, simultaneously, for a very long time. I have no doubt that Special Forces from the US, and several allied nations, have been on the ground, in Iran, for several months now.

Stacy:

You cannot reason with the unreasonable. It is no longer worth the time and the effort. Iran will have a bomb in a matter of months and that means the terrorists will have the bomb. We can't sit around, on our duffs, and expect somebody to bail us out. That is not the American way. Besides, there isn't anybody else.

Iran is counting on us doing exactly that. While the UN is talking, they are building.

Iran is going to be hit. That is a given. Either we do it, or our friends in Israel will do it. Either way, Iran is going to get hit and hit hard!

By the way, the major corporations, doing business in Iran, already know what's coming. They didn't get to be major corporatioins because they're dumb. If the US does the bombing, their employees will be out before the first bomb falls. If Israel does it,however, they will be on their own.

I THINK THE COMMENT ABOUT THE COMPANIES BEING IN
IRAN WAS THAT WE DO BUSINESS (NO BID STYLE) with these companies and they are doing business with "terrorist" nations as called by Bush. And the Moron himself, Bush, said we would not do business with anyone who does business with terrorists. Funny though how if you oppose the Bushites you are automatically called a terrorist....... makes me wonder what they consider me, i'd call my self a patriot.
