Celebrating Robert E. Lee's Birthday Today, Jan. 19th, 1807
I' in awe of Lee. Sorta likes the little South Carolina boy who, upon returning from Sunday School said to his mother: "Momma, I'm confused. Is it the Old Testament or the New Testament that Gen Lee is in?" I find that I am enthralled by the man's decency!
I posted my tribute last night, just about midnight East Coast time...
I chastised a friend today, for posting a piece on Gen. Lee and then flooding their blog with BS about the incoming administration and a tribute to the one that got killed in Memphis...
I was NOT nice in my castigation either, I have NO tolerance for anyone that would include praise or criticism of the *others* over that Gen. Lee on this, HIS day!!
God Bless you Sir, and God SAVE the South... Today my REBEL blood flows warm, tomorrow it boils over...
