How to Win the War on Terrorism! (Or, How to Lose!)

I saw someone’s thoughts, on a blog I visited recently, and I thought to myself that fellow was “dead on”. I wish I could remember the name of the site, but, I cannot. In any event, paraphrasing what he said: "When will the world learn that we must join together to fight Islamofacism?”

It struck me that the writer was exactly right!

The cancer we know as Islamofacism, spawned in the Middle East, has metastasized into the all the nations of the world now. No single nation remains uninfected.

Much like treating cancer, the physicians must “get it all” to prevent it spreading again and, eventually killing the patient.

Today, the entire globe is the patient. The cancer is Islamofacism. We must “get it all” to prevent the “death of the world”, as we know it.

Attempting to fight Islamofacism, in any one country, is akin to squeezing a balloon. You can flatten it beneath your hand, but it will bulge out somewhere else. That’s the way Islamofacism reacts to pressure in any one country.

In order to be effective in this fight to eradicate this cancer on the world we must make a concerted effort, all nations of the world, simultaneously.

Now, don’t get me wrong. I’m all for unilateralism. I think it would be a wonderful thing if the US could stamp out Islamofacism on it’s own. But we can’t. It hasn’t anything to do with our military strength, or ability to meet them on any battlefield and destroy them. It has to do with the fact that the infection of Islamofacism is spread so far, and over such a huge geographical area, that we cannot possible fight, and win against it, single handedly.

I am not so blind that I don’t see that some nations, most actually, are extremely happy to leave the dirty, filthy, fighting, not to mention the EXPENSIVE fighting, and the shedding of blood, entirely to the United States. Never mind that the US has already shed its blood to save many of those countries still in existence today. Never mind that the US cannot win the fight alone. The battle buys time for those who stand upon the sidelines and watch. Until the US throws in the towel, they are gambling that the US will keep the Islamofacists so occupied they will leave the sideline countries alone.

Well, they are wrong!

Consider the terrorist activities in England, Spain, Germany, Australia, just to name a few. And the Islamofacists are getting stronger in those countries.

This is a worldwide infection and it will take worldwide treatment to halt the advance and spread of the cancer on the globe.

Now, please don’t think I am talking about an effort by the United Nations. Absolutely not! The UN is more an ally of the terrorists than an enemy to them. So, the worldwide attack on terrorism must be done totally apart from the UN. There has to be a coalition, if you will, of nations serious about fighting Islamofacism. And those nations must attack it, each in his own country, with equal vehemence.

The US is about to move on Iran, unilaterally. Why, because the UN cannot be relied upon to defend freedom and liberty around the world. If there is one iota of doubt in your mind, consider how the UN reacted to the Hizbollah killing and kidnapping of innocent Israeli citizens. Consider how the UN came down on the side of the terrorists and against Israel, the aggrieved party. They do it over and over again. Trust the UN? I think not!

The US has kept the world relatively safe since the Second World War, but we cannot continue to do that. The size and the scope of this cancerous infection called Islamofacism is simply too large… too large for any single country, including the US.

Much of Europe will soon be Islamic. I mean Islamic countries with Islamic governments, governed as Islamic theocracies. Many European countries have relied upon the US, ever since the Second World War, for their safety, and they are unprepared to defend themselves. As a result they will fall to Islam almost immediately. History has taught us that France, left to it’s own devices, cannot protect itself. France will, most likely, be the first to fall, quickly followed by Spain.

Here, in my own country, the US, we are going to have to have a catastrophic terror event to coalesce the American people into one huge, angry, fighting machine, before we can effectively fight the Islamofacists. In their zeal to spread their poison, the terrorist will, unhappily, provide that terror event fairly soon now. Once the anger of the American people is up, God help anyone, or anything, which gets between it and the object of its anger.

The bottom line is this: We have only just begun this struggle. I fully expect our grandchildren to still be engaged in a war against Islamofacists, all over the world, 30 years, and even 50 years, from this date. The only way to end this war sooner is for the US, and the remainder of the free world, to surrender. Do not, I repeat, do not expect the Islamofacists to surrender. When you fight an enemy who does not mind dying, the only way you can win is through attrition. Kill them, and continue killing them, until they no longer exist. Genocide, you ask? Yes, I reply.

Harsh? Yes! But it is becoming increasingly necessary. Slavery is not an option for America.

Do not deceive yourself into believing that America can disengage from this enemy. They don’t want us to disengage, and they will not allow us to disengage. If we bring our troops home, they will follow us to our shores and continue the war within the boundaries of the US. You see… this is a war they want… desperately! They see it as a means to an end. That “glorious end”, for them, is a world ruled over by Islamic slave masters.

Now, I don’t know about you… but I’d make a horrible slave. I’m head strong, and stubborn, and an all around pain in the backside. They won’t keep people like me around long. There are a lot of you, out there, just like me.

So, how do we convince the remainder of the world that it will take a concerted effort to win this struggle? We don’t. We can’t. For many countries, in Asia and in Europe, the decision to join forces against the Islamofacists will come too late. Much of the world will be lost before the realization becomes clear.

This was not an easy post to write. It is not pleasant to look directly at a threat that poses the danger of annihilation to the entire population of the planet. But, in order to see the problem, in the correct perspective, one must observe it as a worldwide threat. Each moment we procrastinate, more of our beloved world is lost to the darkness, dread, and slavery, of Islamofacism.

It is not a pleasant time for those of us who see Islamofacism for what it is. It is not a pleasant time for those of us who understand its threat to, not just our nation, but the entire world. And, believe me, it is not a pleasant time for those of us who watch politics, in our beloved country, draw the attention of our nation’s leadership away from this terminal problem.

As I said early on in this post, it will take another cataclysmic event to coalesce the attention of Americans on our deadly enemy. I am equally sorry to say that I do not believe that event is too far distant in the future.

If I stir up a hornets nest I wouldn't expect you to help me swat all the hornets, so why should we help you against an enemy that your foreign policy created?
Islamofacism is not a terminal problem, its a fad and will burn itself out eventually. How much liberty have you forsaken in order to aid your government's war against this enemy?
You should pay heed to Benjamin Franklin; "They that can give up essential liberty for the sake of a little security deserve neither liberty or security."
You're scared and your limited reasoning has decided that the only way to not be scared is to blow stuff up. What you fail to see however is that by getting all rowdy and going in with guns blazing you only recruit more soldiers for the enemy. 9/11 was in all likelyhood a one off which has been exploited by your government to exert more and more control over you. The tragedy is anyone who speaks out against this point of view is decried as being unpatriotic and a traitor. Read your constitution again, your nation's founding fathers wrote it not to protect the nation from its enemies but to protect the citizens from the government. It would be unpatriotic to follow your government blindly into folly after folly without question. Patriotism is about questioning authority and holding those who represent you to the world to account for their actions, they are acting on your behalf after all. Patriotism is about loyalty to a nation, not loyalty to a government.
I don't expect you to allow this comment to be posted, if you do then you're a better man than I gave you credit for, if not you're no better than an islamofacist.

Thank you for that post. People must realize the threat that islamofacism is to our planet.

Nobody wants war in our generation, or in future generations. However, history has shown us that whenever people are enslaved by tyrants, they would prefer war over being enslaved by their captors.

It is time that we stand together, calling islamofacism what it is. It is not a "religion of peace" as some would say. It calls for the the destruction of all who fail to submit.

Until our society learns that politically correct newspeak actually blinds our people and causes them to think they are safe, we will not see that we need to rid the earth of islamofacism.

It is time for us to take whatever course necessary. Your cancer analogy is very accurate. If we choose to ignore this malignant disease, it will spread throughout the earth. Though it may be painful, we must pursue victory, for there is no other alternative but to relinquish our freedom and become slaves.

Lets stand together and support change. Hopefully our nation's efforts today will make the fight agaist terrorism easier for our future generations.

Mandrill: I could not disagree more with what you have said above.

That said, I appreciate your stopping by and leaving your comment!
