And so it begins…
There is about to be a BATTLE in this nation, one that could very well be bloody, nasty and one that divides this nation like no issue to date.
The school shooting in Connecticut is about to be the launching pad for a POTUS that has nothing to lose as he finds a way to make ALL guns illegal in the hands of civilians and attempts to do away with the Second Amendment to the Constitution.
From Barack Obama:
As a country, we have been through this too many times. Whether it’s an elementary school in Newtown, or a shopping mall in Oregon, or a temple in Wisconsin, or a movie theater in Aurora, or a street corner in Chicago–these neighborhoods are our neighborhoods, and these children are our children. And we’re going to have to come together and take meaningful action to prevent more tragedies like this, regardless of the politics. SOURCEAnd if that veiled threat from Obama isn’t enough, there’s this:
Bloomberg jabs Obama’s call for ‘meaningful action’Of course that would be the reaction from the most anti-gun Mayor in America. So, what are other elected officials saying?
New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg isn’t satisfied with President Obama’s promise Friday to take “meaningful action” to prevent future mass shootings.
“[T]he country needs him to send a bill to Congress to fix this problem – and take immediate executive action,”
There’s this from New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo:
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, a potential Democratic presidential candidate in 2016, called for “aggressive action” to increase gun control in the wake of the mass shooting at a Connecticut elementary school Friday. SOURCESen. Claire McCaskill had reasonable words today:
“I’m stunned and sick to my stomach. And as a mother, I’m horrified. All of America is grieving for these children and their families. As we learn more, my prayers are with the students and staff at Sandy Hook Elementary, and with their families.” SOURCEThen we hear a voice of sympathy and sanity from Governor Bob McDonnell:
“It is with a heavy heart and the deepest of sympathies that I learned earlier today of the horrific shooting in Newtown, Connecticut. My thoughts and prayers go out to the families of those impacted by the events transpiring today, and to the teachers, emergency responders, and all others touched by this tragedy. Unfortunately, Virginia has our own painful memories of the tragic shootings at Virginia Tech in 2007. Those memories will never fade, and we continue to grieve for all those lost on that April day. We are all too aware of the impact that events like this can have on a community. If there is anything Virginia can do to assist Governor Malloy and the citizens of Connecticut, we stand ready to do so.” SOURCEThose are only a few of the remarks from the news regarding the Connecticut shooting, some are sympathy, some are anti-gun ANGER. Look for much more anti-gun anger in the very near future.
Make NO mistake my friends, this is a heinous tragedy, one that brings unspeakable grief and sadness. There were many small children killed by this guy, some kind of mentally defective, evil monster, and the LEFT will be making the most of it as soon as they believe they can do so and not appear too crass and heartless regarding the victims.
A full blown assault on American gun freedoms is about to begin I am afraid, all because of ONE evil monster that went off his rocker and killed so many people.
There are many millions of gun owners in this nation; we own, according to some figures, 3.4 guns per household that owns guns. Some homes have even more I am sure.
Of all the many MILLIONS of gun owners in America only one committed mass murder on Friday, December 14, but you can bet on this, the *progressive* left will insist that we ALL pay the price for the transgressions of that one NUT JOB!
Molon Labe!
