The Israeli/Palestinian problem CAN be ended.

The Israeli/Palestinian problem CAN be ended.

The Israeli and Palestinian problem continues, as it has for decades now, and will into the future, unless…the United States gets out of the way.

I have concluded the US should step aside, get out of the way, and let those cousins/half-brothers fight it out. The last person standing inherits the country, or whatever is left of it. There will be no peace there until one completely annihilates the other, and one no longer exists.

The US meddling in that part of the world has only made matters worse and prolonged the bloodletting much, much, longer than was necessary. The Israelis would have wiped the floor up with the Palestinians… had the US given the nod. The late Mr. Arafat lived only so long as the US refused to allow Israel to kill him.

It is past time for the US to take the leash off Israel and allow it to clean up that mess and be done with it.

Oh, and while they’re at it, the Israeli Air Force can streak on over to Iran and remove THAT atomic threat, for us, as they did the Iraqi atomic reactor some years ago. Surely, the Iranians have been made aware that such a plan is in the works. Surely, they are not so isolated that they haven’t heard the rumblings along the military grapevine. If so, they are the only folks in that part of the world who cannot see the big red bulls eye painted on the sides of their nuclear facilities.

The Israeli/Palestinian problem is one the world does not have to tolerate. It can be ended in short order. And it should be.

Your Obedient Servant,

“Longstreet”
