Why did the Dems fight Condoliza Rice’s nomination for Secretary of State of the US so energetically? (The US Senate confirmed her Jan 26th, 2005.)

Because they’re scared. They’re terrified of Ms. Rice.

For years we have been told at every opportunity, by the Dems, that Hillary Clinton is the smartest woman in the world. She owns the keys to the Whitehouse. She has been ordained the “President in Waiting”, the “Heir Apparent”, etc. etc..

Now a challenger is looming on the political horizon. She, too, is a woman. She, too, is brilliant. She, too, is a politician. She, too, is aimed at the Whitehouse.

There the similarities come to a screeching halt. You see… she is a Black woman and she is a Republican.

Blacks are Democrats…right? No, that’s not right. Some Black people have left the Democratic Plantation. Ms. Rice saw early on in her life that success for Black people was with the political party which didn’t just talk about advancement for Black people but actually saw to it opportunities were available for them. She went to the political party, which actually invited Black people to join the “American Dream” as a participating member and not just a recipient of the legendary largesse of the democrats socialistic programs, which throttle the aspirations of Black Americans and hold them in the clutches of victimhood.

While the likes of Barbara Boxer, John Kerry, and Ted Kennedy, those glimmering, shimmering, sparkling “jewels of socialism”, in the US Senate, made complete fools of themselves by showing their true feelings toward a black person who presents a threat to their idealism, Ms. Rice calmly sailed through their maelstrom of hypocritical slander. Their conduct was shameful. Their bitterness is exceeded only by their fear of Ms. Rice. She puts the lie to everything they have preached about Black Victimhood for decades.

Ms. Rice is now the "Secretary of State" of the United States of America. She may well be the Republican candidate for President in 2008. Now, wouldn’t that be something?
