Lemme ask a question: Do not the idiots calling for a Palestinian state understand they are calling for the genocide of the so-called Palestinian people?????? For that is exactly what will happen. That is exactly what MUST happen if the state of Israel is to survive. Once there is a state of Palestine, Israel will no longer be fighting a bunch of terrorists and thugs, she’ll be defending herself against a nation/state… a nation/state backed by the United Nations. For all intents and purposes to create a Palestinian state is to create another terrorists state! Therefore, Israel will have no choice but to wipe the state of Palestine out… as quickly as she can. And she will.

The utter naiveté of the Left, and some on the right, including our own President, is absolutely amazing! They are setting the so-called Palestinians up for a massacre. (Or is that what the intention is??? No, can’t be. Our intelligence people are not that smart!)

Look, I find it more than a little difficult to feel any kindness toward a people who openly rejoiced by dancing, and singing, in the streets when their fellow Muslims slammed those airliners into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center, in New York, and killed 3,000 of my countrymen! So, don’t expect it from me. Add to that the fact that I am damned tired of US dollars being poured into that rat hole to be used to arm terrorists who kill Jews and Americans just because they are Jews and Americans! Americans must be the dumbest people on the face of the globe. No, I take that back. Americans have the dumbest LEADERS on the face of the globe!

There never has been a “Palestinian nation/people”. Never! That particular piece of real estate was ruled over by the Roman Empire, the Crusaders, both Muslim and Christian, by the Turks (The Ottoman Empire), and by the British. When the state of Israel was created, Trans-Jordan was created, at the same time, to be the homeland for the people who call themselves Palestinians.

They do not want a “state”, a Palestinian state. They want Israel gone, wiped off the map. The call for a state of Palestine is a ploy to institute their claim to a “right of return” for all “Palestinians” worldwide. Never mind the fact that there are no Palestinians, Muslims will flood into the area and soon Israel will be inundated by the screaming hordes intent on their death and destruction. That’s what all this is about. And it pains me to see my government actively aiding and assisting in what can only be the kick-off to Armageddon!

It’s an issue that will dominate the elections in 2008. It is illegal immigration, but there was scarce attention paid during the debates leading up to the Iowa caucuses. The candidate that promises to put a stop to it will be the candidate that wins. The party that temporizes will be the party that fails.

The conflict in Iraq has siphoned the energy to pay attention to Mexico, but as that battlefront recedes, the eyes of voters will be on our southern border. A war is being fought there. Some may argue that no such war has been authorized or declared, but a full-scale invasion has been taking place for years, resulting in an estimated one tenth of all Mexicans presently living in the United States.

They are not pilgrims. They are parasites.

The drain on our economy is something that, while well documented, has not received sufficient attention from the mainstream media. After all, we are “neighbors” with Mexico, so how could they hardly be considered an invading horde costing Americans billions of dollars every year?

Good neighbors don’t do that kind of thing, but Mexico is not a good neighbor.

Mexico is working very hard to provide the seaports for goods shipped more cheaply there than to American ports. They would then be transported via a super highway from the Texas-Mexico border to a Mexico owned and operated customs port in Kansas. Presently, some 40% of all imported goods arrive in the U.S. via the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach. Putting American dockworkers in the unemployment lines and harming our trucking industry is of little concern to our “neighbor” to the south.

Perhaps, however, the real war receiving scant attention is the one being conducted by Mexican drug lords and their cartels. At present most of the war is being fought in Mexico and, as Terence Jeffrey, the editor-in-chief of CNSnews, recently pointed out, one episode was fought in Cananea. Where’s that? “It is almost in Arizona.” Cananea is about 20 miles south of the U.S. border in Mexico. “The nearest town of any size is Nogales, Arizona and the nearest big city is Tucson. Cananea is a war zone.

How long before that shooting war takes place in the streets of American cities? Not long at all. In June 2007, World Net Daily reported that, “The ultra-violent, U.S.-trained elite, Mexican paramilitary commandos known as the ‘Zetas’, responsible for hundreds of murders along the border this year, have expanded their enforcement efforts on behalf of a drug cartel by setting up trafficking routes in six U.S. states.” Texas law enforcement officials report that the Zetas “have been active in the Dallas area since 2003.”

The war is all about the provision of huge amounts of heroin, cocaine, marijuana, and methamphetamine into the U.S. market. While the illegal aliens send back an estimated $25 billion U.S. dollars to Mexico, the drug market represents an estimated $40 billion. The lifeblood of America is being poisoned while money that would have been legitimately earned by Americans is drained off to become an essential element of the Mexican economy.

Millions must be deployed to capture and imprison the illegals who are here to commit crimes. According to the Federation for American Immigration Reform, “In 1980, our federal and state prisons housed fewer than 9,000 criminal aliens. By the end of 1999, these same prisons housed over 68,000 criminal aliens. Today, criminal aliens account for over 29 percent of prisoners in Federal Bureau of Prisons facilities and a higher share of all federal prison inmates.” The figures are staggering. “Among the alien federal prisoners, over half (55%) were illegally in the United States at the time of their conviction.”

By way of just one example, on November 30, 2007, border patrol agents in Yuma, Arizona captured six Mexican career criminals. They had a combined total of 80 previous arrests in the United States, but that pales in comparison with news in mid-December that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested almost twice as many “criminal aliens” and “immigration fugitives” in fiscal year 2007 than the previous year. The year ended September 30 and the total was 30,408 individuals.

As of October 1, 2007, ICE had a case backlog of 595,000 fugitive aliens!

It’s not like these criminal aliens are deported when they finish their sentences. In March 2000, Congress revealed Department of Justice statistics that the former Immigration and Naturalization Service had released more than 35,000 criminal aliens back into the U.S. population. It gets worse. More than 11,000 went on to commit serious crimes that included more than 1,800 violent ones that involved 98 homicides, 142 sexual assaults, and 44 kidnappings. A 2001 Supreme Court decision required INS (later changed to ICE) to release more than 3,000 criminal aliens.

In November 2007, commentator Jim Kouri broke the news that some 1,000 ICE agents had been reassigned to work as U.S. Customs officers. This is part of the Bush Administration’s efforts to keep the southern border as open as possible and explains why two border control agents are still in jail for having shot at a Mexican drug smuggler who has since been re-arrested. The message to the Border Patrol officers is clear.

This has been occurring at a time when Americans had to mount a major effort to thwart an effort by the White House and Congress to extent amnesty to the millions of illegals in America, including of course, the criminals among them.

Despite highly publicized joint programs between the U.S. and Mexico to spend billions to thwart the Mexican drug gangs, the enormity of the amount of money generated by drugs and the thorough corruption of the Mexican government, its military and police, will render the effort a meaningless charade. Public officials and ordinary Mexicans are understandably thorough intimidated.

The violence across the 2,000-mile border from America is already here. The crime statistics in the six states that are home to an estimated sixty percent of all illegal immigrants—California, Texas, New York, Florida, Illinois, and New Jersey—are testimony to the greater war that will soon explode in these and other states nationwide as local gangs, including illegal aliens, will fight to protect their market for drugs.

Meanwhile, Americans in just those six states are forced to spend an estimated $27 billion annually for the education, health care, and incarceration of the illegal and criminal aliens in their midst. According to the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), more than three-fifths of all the states have seen their illegal alien population more than double since 2000.

The drug wars between the army and the cartels in Mexico have left more than 2,000 dead in 2007 and the Bush Administration’s answer has been to propose giving the government of Felipe Calderon $500 million worth of military equipment and training, including Bell 412 helicopters and surveillance aircraft among the hardware to be transferred, but in too many cases, the problem is members of the army moonlighting for the drug lords.

The last Mexican-American War was an armed military conflict between the United States and Mexico from 1846 to 1848 in the wake of the 1845 U.S. annexation of Texas. The new Mexican-American War is being waged by the demographic shift of Mexican citizens to the U.S. At risk is both the sovereignty and economy of the United States of America.

The “Weak-Willies”, "The Hand-Wringers", the "Bedwetters", and assorted other persons of weak constitution, are at it again here in North Carolina. They want us to stop being mean to murderers, and such, and play nice. Apparently they feel we have been far too mean in putting them to death for their having put OTHERS to death. Apparently, they also feel the pain and suffering inflicted on the victims of the convict on NC’s death row is of no consequence and deserves no recognition. I mean the poor misunderstood killer was… well… misunderstood.

It’s all bovine scatology! Baloney!

The argument over whether or not death by lethal injection is legal, whether it is cruel and unusual, is nothing more than a way to tie the state up in court and exasperate it to the point that our state legislature will outlaw the death penalty in NC. We have a moratorium on executions in North Carolina, at the moment, and it is in place only as an attempt to weaken the will of the state legislature to do the will of the people of the state… and that is… to keep, in place, the death penalty in North Carolina.

The anti-death penalty crowd claims lethal injection is too painful. My Aunt Fanny! What about the pain the killers brought upon their victims and the families of their victims, huh? They claim that some of the drugs only paralyze the death row inmate, as he is being executed, and he dies by painful suffocation! SO? What’s your point???

Look, there is a lethal injection, which is virtually painless and absolutely effective, cost efficient, and, well… neat. That is to inject a 9-millimeter round into the brain, just behind the left ear, with an injection device known as a 9-millimeter handgun! Works every time… the FIRST time! Death is instantaneous. No doctor is needed to check to see if the recipient of the 9 mm slug is dead. Any fool can plainly see that he, or she, as the case may be, is, in fact, dead!

Yes, I support the death penalty. I think it is perfectly fine for the state to put killers to death. The moment they willfully took the life of another they forfeited their own. I have absolutely no problem with the death penalty. And yes, we will occasionally kill an innocent person. That is the price we pay for maintaining a society where, for much of the time, we can live, and raise families, in relative safety.

It’s way past time to put the argument of whether or not the death penalty is legal, moral, or other wise. The Supreme Court says it is legal and the scriptures say it is moral. That is quite enough for me. Actually, it is more than enough.

I am exasperated with all the hand wringing over this subject. It strikes me as being childish. Grown-ups do what has to be done to provide a safe living environment for their families. It is a state’s duty to do that statewide… a nation’s duty to do that nationwide.

North Carolina and, indeed, the United States, should stop acting like a state, and a nation, of children and do what is necessary to create and maintain a relatively safe living environment for it’s citizens… and… that includes taking the lives of convicted killers as payment for their crimes when the court judges them guilty.

Veterans Refused Rights They Fought For in Veteran’s Hospitals.

Veterans Refused Rights They Fought For in Veteran’s Hospitals.

I just read a piece in the Fayetteville Observer, out of Fayetteville North Carolina, that had my blood boiling. I daresay, if you are a veteran, or happen to be a “Christian” veteran, or a member of the family of a Christian veteran, and you can read this article and not be “spitting nails” angry … then you are a better person than I.

The article is entitled: “VA Forbids Basic Rights”. Laud Pitt, Jr, writes the piece. Mr. Pitt is a retired US Army Lt. Colonel. The paper says he formerly visited the VA hospital in Fayetteville one day a week, performing volunteer pastoral care for patients living there.

Let me give you one brief quote from this article:

“As a volunteer assigned to the chaplain’s office of the Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center in Fayetteville, I was recently told that I could no longer carry my Bible into the rooms of patients living on the nursing floors of that hospital, nor could I any longer say a prayer with any of the patients.”

That is a direct quote of the very first paragraph of this article. You have to read on to really see what Col. Pitt’s complaint is about. And, if you are like me, before you are half way through.... you will be on fire!

(For those of you who have not served in the US Army, Fayetteville, North Carolina, is the city adjacent to Fort Bragg, one of the Army’s largest Army installations on the North American Continent. Many, many, many US Army Veterans live in this area of Southeastern North Carolina. The VA Hospital referenced in this article is where most of them receive their care.)

Something has to be done about the direction the VA has taken as regards the denial of religious rights constitutionally guaranteed Christian’s… including Christian soldiers… and especially Christian veterans who fought and sacrificed in a VERY real way to protect and guarantee those rights.

This just STINKS!

Don’t you think it’s time to contact your Congressperson and Senators about this problem?

The denuding of all chapels, in VA hospitals, of any Christian symbols is a policy, which, I understand, is being implemented by the VA nationwide. You might want to check the VA hospital nearest you and see for yourself.

As for me, rest assured I will be contacting Senator Burr and Senator Dole, and my Congressman, ASAP about this. They (WE) owe these veterans more than we can ever repay and this must be corrected… and corrected NOW!

So, you are an “unbeliever”, too??? Dear, dear, me! What are we to do with you? How about re-education camps… you know, like those in communist countries. Would that change your mind?

Sounds silly, doesn’t it? Well, maybe not! You see the Marxist movement has found a new home… in the Global Warming Community (Now re-named as: The Global Climate Change” community). Now, those of you my age, remember how citizens in Communist countries suffered under Marxist dictators. We recognize what we are seeing today from the Man Made Global Warming Crowd. Marxism.

Don’t believe in Global Warming? How dare you! Don’t believe in "Man Made" Global Warming? Why, that’s treasonous! Happen to believe that the earth’s weather is cyclical with warming and cooling periods? Where did you get such garbage?

These days, those of us who won’t “go along to get along” with the Global Warming crowd are referred to as “Deniers” and “Unbelievers”. I prefer the latter, as I firmly believe that environmentalism is the latest resurrection of the religion of paganism and those who worship at the alter of Global Warming are, in fact, adherents to the pagan religion. (Where’s the tar and feathers? Where’s the rail, the pitchfork armed crowd roars!)

Since the advent of Political Correctness it has been unacceptable to call a “spade a spade”. In other words, to “call it as you see it”. (Being honest.) So, for anyone to say, openly, they believe the Global Warming “stuff” is a crock, is Blasphemy!

So, you do not think Environmentalism is a religion? Well, lets see what a religion is. Webster’s second definition says the following:

2 : a personal set or institutionalized system of religious attitudes, beliefs, and practices

There it is! Compare what you know, and what you see, about the environmentalist community today, with the definition above… and decide for yourself.

Now, I subscribe to the Christian faith. And, I have to tell you my personal faith will not allow me to embrace environmentalism because, I believe, it is paganism. I believe it is the worship of nature rather than the worship of Nature’s God! If I am correct, then that is a diabolical sin!

Happily, I am not alone. There are others who are raising their voices as well, against the purveyors of this new religion. Alan Caruba is one.
