Democrats Rush to Surrender to America's Enemies!

Let us be clear on something, OK?

There is this crazy feeling floating amongst those on the political Left that the Democrats will bring US troops home from Iraq. I know, and most of you know, it is a pipe dream, but THE LEFT BELIEVES IT!

See, the truth is… Democrats will not bring US troops home from Iraq, even, even, if they win the Presidency in 2008 and maintain control of both houses of Congress!

Yeah, I know they voted to do so yesterday in the House.

“The House measure passed 223-201 in the Democratic-controlled chamber despite a veto threat from President Bush, who has ruled out any change in war policy before September.”

Now, here’s what the anti-war movement crowd is missing: The Democrats don’t want a defeat in Iraq anymore than anyone else! That is… they don’t want the defeat in IRAQ to be penned on them! What they really want is for the defeat of US Forces in Iraq to be penned on President Bush and the Republicans. So, if the war is still in progress when they take over the Presidency in 2008, IF they do, then they will be stuck with doing the best they can to achieve victory in Iraq. Ironic, isn’t it?

But there it is! That’s the truth of the Left and their “bring the troops home” campaign in the US Congress.

I sort of thought everyone understood this 'til I heard Mr. Limbaugh mention the same thing on his show on Thursday of this week. That's when it became clear that no, the Left does not understand this... at all! The anti-war crowd has sold a bill of goods to the unsuspecting "Bush Haters". Americans do not want defeat in Iraq! The leaders of the Democrat Party know this and they are not about to force our troops into a defeat... especially if they are at the helm of the country at the time. If, however, the US Military can be forced into a retreat, while the GOP still has the Oval Office, then more the better for the Democrats... they think! They are mistaken... but... they believe that!

The Mainstream Media is going to blow this vote yesterday in the House out of all proportion. It means, basically nothing. It will be killed in the Senate. If not, the President will veto it and the GOP has enough votes to sustain the President’s veto.

The bottom line here, dear reader, is that what you are seeing from the House Democrats and the Senate Democrats, is their total lack of respect for the lives of the US Servicemen and women serving in Iraq. They are using America’s finest like pawns on a chessboard. It is unforgivable, and I shall never forgive them for their cowardly disregard for the value of the lives of US Servicemen and Servicewomen. It is despicable!
