It Does Not Take A Village… It Takes Dedicated, Loving, Parents!

It Does Not Take A Village… It Takes Dedicated, Loving, Parents!
****************

Got your copy of “It Takes A Village” yet? It's a "must" read... and just in time for the 2008 presidential campaign! And I must say it is as totally dumb and useless a piece of propaganda as has ever been written. Even the name is an affront to parents all across the world, let alone the US.

Yes… Mrs. Bill Clinton is running for President of the US. That alone is scary enough. But, if she were only a normal run of the mill leftists, it wouldn’t be so bad. But, she is the queen bee. And along with her will come that paragon of virtue her very own husband…”Slick Willie” Clinton!

Back to the Book, “It Takes A Village”. I submit to you that that is the causation of most of the crime and vandalism done to our towns and cities today. It is also the root cause of street gangs rivaling the murderous gangs of the old west. All because a village raised those kids.

In actuality, it takes a mom and a dad to take responsibility for their offspring and raise those children in the way they should go. It is the most important duty of every parent. As Solomon said: “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is grown he will not depart from it”. The scriptures also teach us that: “as the twig is bent, so growth the tree”! There it is, folks. Child-Rearing 101!

Did you see anything about a village raising your child? I didn’t either. A village raising a child is strictly a socialist idea. They know that if they can get hold to that young mind they can indoctrinate that child and create another leftist clone. And they are correct. They can. It has happened, already.

If you are going to bring a child into this world… be prepared to raise that child and teach that child what it means to be an American. Teach him, or her, the freedoms, the privileges, and most importantly the responsibility, one has as an American toward his fellow Americans.

Daycare has caused more damage to the American family and the American society that an atom bomb would have caused! Mothers, going off to work and dropping their children off to be raised by a stranger. That stranger spends more time a week with their children than they do. And they wonder why they have discipline problems when they have their child at home? Think about it. The child is just a visitor in his own home. His real home is at the daycare center!

I remember that my mother decided she would go to work, soon after my younger brother was born. He was a toddler and I was no more than five years of age. The company provided a nursery school for the employees, So my mother and father dropped us off there on mother’s first day at work. It lasted almost an entire day. By the end of the day, I had managed to cuss out the lady in charge of the place, got slapped across the face so had that the full imprint of the lady’s hand was plastered all over the left side of my face… all because I did not like the way she was treating my brother and I went to his defense. She decided she would treat me the same way; I rebelled and told her to take her hands off me and called her a” white-headed old Bi-ch”! That’s when I got smacked. The lady was fired and my parents nearly sued the company… but for fear of losing my father’s job, they did not. Thus, ended my one, and only, personal experience with daycare! I remain proud of it to this day! And… I detest over zealous authority figures to this day.

No, a village cannot raise a child properly. Oh, sure, they can raise a child, but you get … well, what we have today, young barbarians!

Young parents, if you want your child raised properly, with the values you believe in, and with the core beliefs of your family, then YOU raise your child yourself! If, on the other hand, you trust someone else’s values above your own, then you allow someone else to raise your kids.

It’s as simply as that.

How come you never say anything about Bush's virtue? I mean he did lie 935 time between 2001 and 2003 about the threat that Iraq posed against us. He lied on the campaign trail of '04 about getting a Constitutional Ammendment to ban gay marriage, not that such an ammendmant is even legal but some idiots believed it, and he lied to them....... If you are going to shine a light on something as little as lying on a deposition in a Civil suit, hell anyone who was divoriced did that..... Then if you want anyone to think there is any intergrity you can't say this guy is any better. I was upset Bill cheated, I hated my ex-wife before our dissolution and that was the furthest thing from my mind...... Why I would do that to me and my reputation..... but Bill's lie didn't get 3,000+ Americans killed and un numbered Iraqi civilians.....

The definition of a lie is: to make a statement that one knows is false, especially. with intent to deceive. Clinton’s “I did not have sex with that woman!” is such an act. Plus, lying to the court, being charged with perjury, and losing his law license for 5 years, pretty much settles the question of whether or not he is an accomplished liar.

Referring to Bush’ so-called lies in reference to the WMD in Iraq… I am convinced that was not a conscious act to deceive. He was relating information he had received from The US Intelligence agencies which, in turn had received much of their Intel from the Brits and other spy agencies around the globe. That, by definition, is not a lie. One must know that what one is saying is not true and a decision made to carry on with the act of deliberate deceit. Bush didn’t do that. Clinton did.

I will condemn any lies, (untruths deliberately spoken with the intent to deceive) by Bush, or anyone else.

Best regards!

So it’s all our fault now! Lol.

Read the downing street memos, it's intelligence that he and Cheney had made up to use to go to war... Ther consensus was once they got us into Iraq they would make it up as they go, knowing that much of the American society (their neo con supporters and Fox news) would keep backing them no matter what, that's how partisian politics works, since there was no WMD he should apologize to the Iraqis, pay them for their hardships (we caused) and get the occupting force the hell out.....

NO, NO, NO! I did not mean to imply that. Last I heard, you folks were standing by your Intel. Besides, British Intel is far superior to the US Intel community. Between the Brit and Israeli and US intel communities, I'll take yours and the Israelis every time.

Look, I'm simply not SMART enough to know WHAT happened with the WMD reports before the Iraqi invasion. The fact remains, as I see it, we had to take Saddam and the boys, out. They were going to take the oil fields of Saudi Arabia and have a strangle-hold on the economy of the world. That could not be allowed to happen.

Call it Blood for Oil, or whatever, the plain truth is oil is the fuel which powers our economy. Without it we will/would have a world wide depression. We cannot allow one power hungry tin pot dictator to grab control of the world's oil supply. No matter who the US president is, no matter what political party the next president is from, if the threat emerges again, Iraq will happen all over again.... someplace else in the world, maybe. For when you clear all the BS away, for the foreseeable future, oil is absolutely necessary for the engine of democracy to run. The free world will trade blood for oil any time it becomes necessary, anywhere it becomes necessary. If and when the Venezuelan oil becomes critical to the free world, that blow-hard, down there, will have a very serious accident. Our governments and Chavez, himself, seem to be the only people who understand that.

Going after our own oil, in Alaska and on the continental shelf, would delay the "coming wars" but the Leftists in America will not allow that. So, as a result we are going to shed more and more American/Brit blood for oil.

(Sorry for getting so far afield here!)

Best regards!

People get the politicians they deserve... At the end of the day, this country, in a state of apathy, voted B’liar into office. I always thought the man was of shallow intellect backed up by superficial understanding of the big picture. At the risk of repeating myself to everyone that mentions our glorious ex-leader- B’lair was a ****.

I think you just have to accept that he did what he believed in, rightly or wrongly. I think both B’lair and the Intel community had two halves of the truth. To be honest, I find it just as worrying that the UK 'expert' on WMD, Dr David Kelly, was found dead from apparent suicide.

“Iraq will happen all over again.... someplace else in the world, maybe. For when you clear all the BS away, for the foreseeable future, oil is absolutely necessary for the engine of democracy to run.”
Everyone here is starting to become concerned about Kosovo (again). The United States and Europe appear committed to making Kosovo an independent state. Serbia opposes this, but more important, so does Russia and it is far from the weak state it was in 1999 - and is not likely to take this quietly. One of the ways Europe avoided hell after 1945 was the cardinal rule: No borders would shift. Putin will create a crisis out of this. Firstly; economic. The natural gas flowing to Europe, particularly to Germany, is critical for us. Putin has a large war chest saved from high-energy prices and he can live without exports longer than the Germans can live without imports of natural gas. Secondly; the "light military" option. Assume that Putin sends a small number of troops by air to Belgrade, and then on to Pristina, claiming this as Russia's right under agreements made in 1999. A Russian naval squadron is already on station in the Mediterranean. Obviously, this is not a force that could impose anything on NATO. But would ‘we’ be prepared to open fire on these troops?

Interesting times ahead.
How far can this thread deviate?

I'm gonna have to bone-up on the Balkans. I have difficulty making out who is who there without a program!

I have been expecting Russia to break out at any time. It's their nature. Their national inferiority complex triggers a state of deep paranoia and they begin to lash out. Putin is smart enough to direct that paranoia where it will not maximum damage to Russia's neighbors. He is a dangerous man.
