Next up… The Impeachment of George W. Bush!

No, I’m not kidding.

Conservatives are gearing up to ward off an attempt by the Democrats to impeach President George W. Bush.

On what grounds you may ask? Glad you asked.

They’ll take anything they can get. It appears they plan to throw a lot of things against the wall and see what, if anything, will stick. For example: The “illegal war in Iraq”. The “Torture” of prisoners, the “Stealing of two elections” (everybody knows the country would not have voted for that dumb ole Texan…so he must have stolen the elections, right?), the tsunami in Indonesia, the mudslides in California, and I’m sure they will find some other “mythical” reasons to begin impeachment proceedings against the President.

You see… it’s “anything” that will “tie-up” the Bush administration so as to insure little, if any, accomplishments during Bush’s eight years in office.

That’s the plan.

It does not matter that the Democrats haven’t the votes in Congress to carry out this scheme. The whole idea is simply to create as much trouble as they possibly can to distract the administration from actually doing its job. You see, if the President actually accomplishes something, anything, that will be far more than the Democrats did during their recent 8-year presidential administration and would look bad for the Democrats and put some kinks in their plans for the 2008 election… especially the primary between “Babs” Boxer and Hillary. (Did you ever see the movie: “The In-laws”? Well, watch this version. It will be hilarious!)

When the Congress gets back, from the current recess, there will be, approximately, 35 days in which to create trouble… before the August recess. It’s going to be a busy month!

There is a very good chance there will be a Supreme Court Justice retiring in June or July. Add that to the John Bolton fiasco and the Nuclear Option is not only back on the table… but will blow up! The GOP Senators, while home during this recess, have gotten their ears chewed off by angry constituents and… they are now fortified and ready to “drop the hammer”.

So, we head into the crazy days of summer in Washington, DC. The really Big Show is about to begin!
