Guarding Our Southern Border.
(Dear Reader: Beginning Monday April 18th, The name of this blogsite will change from "Rebel Yell" to "Insight". The new name will more accurately reflect what we do here. I will continue to touch on things Southern , especially Southern Heritage and Southern Culture, but for the most part, I will be commenting, with my opinion, of course, on anything, and everything, that interests me in the current events of the day. Guarding our Southern Border.
If the US can use troops to guard the Border of Iraq with Iran, Iraq with Syria, the borders of the Balkans, the South Korean Border with North Korea, and for forty years, the border between West Germany and East Germany (and the Soviet Union), and other borders around the world,....why, oh why, can we not protect our own border with Mexico???

Good thinkin red, something must be done, but I believe its more complicated than your near sighted views. Be a little smarter and think outside the box and support a solution that will actually work. Your fore fathers were immigrants too tryin to just better there lives, the same as this next generation. Just like the chinese, irish, italians, germans etc... did. Something must be done to curb the silent invasion but its gonna take a lot more than some glorfied rent a cops to stop it. Just realize where you came from and don't act like your better than these immigrants just because your fortunate enough to be here first. They are just struggling to make ends meet. Educate yourself on this countries history and you won't come off sounding as an uninformed prick that doesn't have a leg to stand on. The U.S stole these now invaded lands from Mexico not long ago and this immigration could be viewed as a little ironic payback for the past decsions of our government. Just offering a diffrent view RED of a pretty big mess this country has to deal w/ for many generations to come.
Brown Stater.... Concentrate a little more within YOUR box and I think you'll see that LONGSTREET is referring to illegal immigrants, not legal immigrants. The key word here is ILLEGAL. Get it?
