Cut Off All Federal Funding to Sanctuary Cities and Place Them Under Martial Law Immediately!! (UPDATED!)

Cut Off All Federal Funding to Sanctuary Cities and Place Them Under Martial Law Immediately!!

***************

What is a sanctuary city? A sanctuary city is a city in which immigration law is not enforced. The city is a sanctuary for illegal immigrants who wish to avoid deportation.

I was stunned to learn there were so many sanctuary cities in the country. I was even more stunned to learn that four (4) of those cities were, right here, in North Carolina!

Want to see if your city, or your hometown is a sanctuary city? Go here:

http://www.ojjpac.org/sanctuary.asp

Here’s the rub: These “sanctuary cities” get millions of dollars, billions of dollars, even, every year from the taxpayers of the US. At the same time they are thumbing their nose at the law of the land! There is no excuse for allowing these cities to have one thin dime of taxpayer money. Not one red cent! The government, if we HAD a government, would cut off the money instantly… and not only that, the government should demand every cent of federal money be returned from the date those cities declared themselves as sanctuary cities!

Look, we are rapidly splitting into two distinct countries, under one flag, here in America. One country believes in law and order, and the constitution, and the other does not!

I have reached a saturation point with the left-wing socialist Americans. I would support a movement to revoke statehood from any state, which allowed any city within its borders to declare as a sanctuary city. This has got to stop!

I was discussing the disunity in America the other day at a local meeting. We agreed that the phrase in the Pledge of Allegiance, which declares, we are “one nation under God, indivisible”, has absolutely no meaning anymore. Some folks have stopped reciting The Pledge because, in effect, it is a lie!

Sanctuary cities are not the stuff America is made of. Sanctuary cities flaunt the law and set horrible examples for the remainder of the country. By giving them our taxpayer money we are supporting them in what is nothing less than a federal crime. We are aiding and abetting in a federal crime!
(UPDATE FOLLOWS BELOW!)

See for yourself what Federal Law says:

U.S. Code Title 8:
Section 1324a states: "Any person who knowingly hires/harbors/transports any illegal alien is guilty of a felony punishable by 10 years jail + $2000 fine per illegal alien + forfeiture of the vehicle or property used to commit the crime".

Section 1324c states, "All officers whose duty it is to enforce criminal laws shall have authority to make arrests for a violation of any provision of this section" (affirmed U.S. v. Perez-Gonzalez 2002 Fed App 0360, 6th Circ.).

Section 1644, same title states, "No local ordinance, rule, or measure shall stop law enforcement officers from enforcement of this section" (affirmed Southern District Court of NY, U.S. v. Rudy Guiliani,1996).

Where is the protest from the Congress? If there are any, I sure have not heard them. That certainly has something to do with Congress’ record setting low approval rating… now at 11%. That is the lowest approval rating of any Congress in the history of the United States. Our unpopular President’s ratings are almost three times higher than the rating of Congress. (29%)

This Congress is leaderless and rudderless and completely at a loss as to how to govern. The leaders in the House and Senate are the least qualified Speaker and Majority leader in recent memory. As a result we can expect NO action by the Congress to punish these rogue cities, which have set themselves up as sanctuaries for the illegal aliens in our midst!

I have never been an advocate of vigilantism, but I must tell you, as I view the crime being openly committed, on such a scale in our country today, with the authorities seemingly powerless to stand against it, vigilantes ARE going to spring up. That is a given. Americans have a God-given right to self-defense. And when we see our country being stolen, right before our eyes, well, it is simply too much to ask us to stand by and do nothing. Sooner or later the rage, which is just below the surface, is going to break through the firewalls and there is going to be hell to pay before the smoke clears.

US citizens should not be forced to support sanctuary cities with our treasure. All federal funding should be cut off immediately and every cent those cities have taken from the federal treasury, since they declared themselves sanctuary cities, should be given back to the federal government. If they refuse to comply then federal troops should be sent into those cities and Martial Law should be declared in those cities until it can be sorted out. (This includes the sanctuary cities in my state as well! I am utterly embarrassed by them!)

There is NO EXCUSE for sanctuary cities. None at all.

Shut the cities DOWN, take away the money, round up and deport ALL illegals and if they won't go peaceably, shoot em... Pretty simple actually, but some folks think I am too violent, well, we're at war, whether the lily-livered libbers will admit it or now, WE ARE AT WAR, right here in the good old USA, and unless someof us are ready, willing and able to GET violent against out enemies, there won't be a USA left before too long...

It's coming, Fred. The people of this country have very little respect for what passes as a government these days. At some point, people are going to begin ignoring the government... and then we will have anarchy. I hate to see that happen, but how long can a country survive with a government that will not enforce the law of the land. I mean... Congress passed a law, a few years ago, making sanctuary cities a federal crime. It went to the Supreme Court and the Supreme Court upheld that law as constitutional... and STILL Congress will not enforce it! How much respect can we have for a Congress which has no respect for us or our laws?

Best regards, my friend!
