The Left's dislike of the Jew and of Israel.

I have gained a wonderful lesson in the past few days. As I wrote several posts in support of Israel, I began to get heat, heavy heat, from, of all places, the Left, including the American Left and the European Left.

The hypocrisy of it all was stunning. The lesson I learned… nothing much has changed. The Left is still anti-Jew and anti-Israel.

Now, before you explode all over my blog here… understand, the Nazis were Leftists. They were Socialists… the Nationalist Socialist party… to be exact.

Over the decades, the American Left has become adept at changing the meaning of words, especially inflammatory words, to fit anyone, or anything, they do not like. Therefore in the lexicon of the Left, Nazi stands for Conservative, you see. But then, truth has never been much of a stumbling block to those bent on establishing the rule of the few, over the many, as does socialism. As any mediocre student of history knows the Nazis were socialists. Hitler was a socialist… a Leftist. I mean… I don’t have to try to prove it. It simply IS the truth! Uncomfortable, I imagine, for out Leftist friends, but there it is.

We have another presidential election coming up in 2008. Both conservatives and liberals are casting their eye in the “round about” hoping to spy a likely candidate to carry the emblem of their party.

Well, we stumbled across an article written by Edward Feser back in 2004. He put forth the idea that maybe the Democrats should look for a candidate in the mold of a former winning candidate who seemed to embody everything the Democrat party stands for today.

Here’s what Mr. Feser said:

"A solution for the Leftist might lie in turning one's historical eye back before either Clinton or McGovern, to find a model who was both genuinely radical and a solid electoral success. Then the task will be to find a modern politician who fits this paradigm as closely as possible. Who might serve as such a model?

One example stands out.

Who was he?

He had been something of a bohemian in his youth, and always regarded young people and their idealism as the key to progress and the overcoming of outmoded prejudices. And he was widely admired by the young people of his country, many of whom belonged to organizations devoted to practicing and propagating his teachings. He had a lifelong passion for music, art, and architecture, and was even something of a painter. He rejected what he regarded as petty bourgeois moral hang-ups, and he and his girlfriend "lived together" for years. He counted a number of homosexuals as friends and collaborators, and took the view that a man's personal morals were none of his business; some scholars of his life believe that he himself may have been homosexual or bisexual. He was ahead of his time where a number of contemporary progressive causes are concerned: he disliked smoking, regarding it as a serious danger to public health, and took steps to combat it; he was a vegetarian and animal lover; he enacted tough gun control laws; and he advocated euthanasia for the incurably ill.

He championed the rights of workers, regarded capitalist society as brutal and unjust, and sought a third way between communism and the free market. In this regard, he and his associates greatly admired the strong steps taken by President Franklin Roosevelt's New Deal to take large-scale economic decision-making out of private hands and put it into those of government planning agencies. His aim was to institute a brand of socialism that avoided the inefficiencies that plagued the Soviet variety, and many former communists found his program highly congenial. He deplored the selfish individualism he took to be endemic to modern Western society, and wanted to replace it with an ethic of self-sacrifice: "As Christ proclaimed 'love one another'," he said, "so our call -- 'people's community,' 'public need before private greed,' 'communally-minded social consciousness' -- rings out...! This call will echo throughout the world!"

The reference to Christ notwithstanding, he was not personally a Christian, regarding the Catholicism he was baptized into as an irrational superstition. In fact he admired Islam more than Christianity, and he and his policies were highly respected by many of the Muslims of his day. He and his associates had a special distaste for the Catholic Church and, given a choice, preferred modern liberalized Protestantism, taking the view that the best form of Christianity would be one that forsook the traditional other-worldly focus on personal salvation and accommodated itself to the requirements of a program for social justice to be implemented by the state. They also considered the possibility that Christianity might eventually have to be abandoned altogether in favor of a return to paganism, a worldview many of them saw as more humane and truer to the heritage of their people. For he and his associates believed strongly that a people's ethnic and racial heritage was what mattered most. Some endorsed a kind of cultural relativism according to which what is true or false and right or wrong in some sense depends on one's ethnic worldview, and especially on what best promotes the well-being of one's ethnic group.

Who was he? He certainly sounds like the ideal presidential candidate of a Pacifica Radio Network listener or Mother Jones subscriber -- or, to make a more timely reference, a contributor to MoveOn.org. It can only add to his appeal for such people that he was a target of American and British bombing raids and had to flee to the safety of an underground hide-out.

And he was none other than Time magazine's Man of the Year for 1938:

Adolf Hitler."

Stunning isn’t it?

We urge you to read the entire article. You’ll find it at:
http://www.tcsdaily.com/article.aspx?id=010804A

Why do I bring all this to the forefront today? Well, after months of being plastered with every racial epithet and called every hated name in the book, and some which were just made up on the spur of the moment, I thought I’d shed a little truth on who Hitler really was and... possibly poke an elbow in the ribs of the Left as a not-so- subtle-reminder that they ought not be describing conservatives in terms which, more truthfully, describe leftists/socialists.

Well Sir, you almost had me buying it. Why is the American Nazi Party, A real party, to the extreme right? Extreme right and extreme left appear almost the same, it is the old addage "Too much of a good thing." Too much right or too much left are never any good. Or that "Absolute power corrupts Absolutley" I stopped the name calling if i recall and bashed a guy who said you were a Nazi.... A war of ideas can not be won by name calling. I am not calling you a liar suh, I just disagree with you on some issues. Fact: Hitler got rid of labor unions, thatis not a leftist or even a socialist view. Unions protect the workers and help management when it comes to disputes and puts workers in an even position. Plus remember when you talk about Hitler remember he married his cousin, a practice which is much reserved for well, I am not saying just where, but we know what flags they have in the back window of their rusted out pick up truck. And when those types fly that flag they do the flag a dis-service and cause the historical REALITY of what that flag and gentlment under that flag stood for.

Frank,
GO DO YOUR RESEARCH!!!!!
Hilter married Ava Braun. He was
reportedly in love with his niece,
Geli Rabaul, who committed suicide.
Secondly,15,000 complaints are filed EVERY year with the NLRB (National Labor Relations Board)
on behalf of union members AGAINST
their unions. Besides, I've seen more"inbreds" in Ohio than I've seen in the South.
***************************
well hoosier I knew it was a relative he was fooling around with, I just read it over 20 yrs. ago when I was in highschool that it kinda got skewed in my memeory somewhere with all the other information "floating around" in the mostly empty space between my ears. (who knows, all the pot and stuff I did from junior high until graduation). Yeah there are alot of inbreds here in ohio, we import 'em from PA, IN and WV. I wish we could seal our borders with those redneck states. Maybe you would like to get rid of labor unions and cut your pay in half, and work twice as many hours and not get time and a half pay, or vacations, or sick pay, or worse yet in unsafe conditions? I sir refuse to work under those conditions and would quit my job and stop being a viable part of the economy, a consumer.

"Unions protect the workers and help management when it comes to disputes and puts workers in an even position"

Oh sure unions are great things.. tell that to my husband, who BTW, has belonged to TWO and they never did anything for him other than force him to pay dues. And the reason so much is too expensive in the USA is unions.. the reason we have lousy teachers in our schools is it's too difficult for a school to fire someone they want too for being a lousy teacher, or those 'sainted' people that are so-called teacers but are only child molestors in teachers clothing can't just be fired outright either, why.. UNIONS!

The prejudice from so many towards people from the south, red necks or hillbillies is really something.. this comes from people that would reverently say African American when referring to black people (even those that have NEVER set foot in Africa), or 'immigrants' when speaking about those invaders from south of the border.. just so they won't offend those persons.. what a bunch of friggin hypocrites!

Sorry LS.. just a little rant..:-)

He didn't have better working conditions and pay and benefits than his non-union counterparts?

Some unions now just kiss butt of the company because in certain areas all they can do is collect dues, anymoe than that and the company will get rid of them. People will eventually learn again, when they get sick of working for peanuts, maybe after China organizes, like Japan did after Regan Comics, i mean Reganomics.

By the way, are you a redneck? my neighbors are and I would gladly trade them for a black or hispanic person. Next time I have to shovel their dog's crap out of my yard I'm going to put a bullet in the darn mutt, within city limts or not. And if they bathe their kids once a week it's a miracle. I tell them all the time they need to get a union job so they can afford a trip to the dentist. A housefull of 'em and maybe a total of 10 teeth, it's disgusting. Or the other neighbors, evertime I need to get in and out of my driveway I gotta threaten to have one of their drunk buddies trucks towed so I can get in and out of MY driveway. These guys and gals, in their 40's sitting around drunk and high on pot from sun-up to God knows when, loud, obnoxious, unintelligable speaking, just a lower form of life I have to "muck" with when I go for walks in the evenings. I didn't say from the south I said I wasn't going to say from where they were from, because so many are transplanted into my town, shoot my Italian grandfather helped run the KKK out of my town.

As the product of the marriage of First Cousins,(My parents were LEGALLY First Cousins, although my mother's father had been adopted into the family and was from a different bloodline.) allow me, please, to shed some light on this Cousin's Marriage "thingy":

Facts about Cousin Marriages

Go to:

http://www.cousincouples.com/?page=facts

Some people are fixated on the fallacy that cousin couples pose an intolerable risk to their offspring. However it is likely that we are all descendants of cousin marriages. Before civil laws banning cousin marriages, it was preferable to marry a cousin in some communities as it is to this day in many countries. The notion “why marry a stranger is just as prevalent in many countries as the cousin marriage taboo in America today. There is a wide range of opinions on the subject of cousin marriages. This is fuelled by erroneous information, bigotry, and presumptions. Further we have civil laws and religious creeds based on obsolete information.
The facts about cousin marriages are much clearer.
Fears of cousins who marry having children with birth defects are exaggerated. Simply marrying within your own race increases the odds of birth defects. Marrying within your own town further increases your chances. Cousin couples have only a slightly higher incidence of birth defects than non-related couples.

***** We are all cousins. No two people are more distantly related than 50th cousins.

FOR MORE>>> GO TO:
http://www.poynter.org/dg.lts/id.2/aid.59867/column.htm

Twenty states prohibit marriage between first cousins. Four additionally prohibit unions between cousins once removed (a difference of one generation.) Six states allow cousin marriages only if the couple is above child-bearing age.

States that prohibit marriage between first cousins: Arkansas, Delaware, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, West Virginia, Wyoming.

States that ban first-cousin marriages and also prohibit marriage between cousins once removed: Kentucky, Ohio, Nevada, Washington.

States that permit marriage between first cousins, but only if one or both parties are past child-bearing age: Arizona, Illinois, Indiana, Maine, Utah, Wisconsin.

States that allow first cousins to marry without restrictions: Alaska, Alabama, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia.

North Carolina permits marriage between first cousins, but not double cousins.(That occurs when, for instance, two brothers from one family marry two sisters from another; if each couple has a child, those offspring are double cousins.)

Hope all this sheds some light on the Cousins marriage thing.

Those aren't "rednecks", Frank.

A Redneck is someone who does a honest job exposed to the elements and his neck is reddened by the sun. He is a hard working common man.

Down here we have "Rednecks" and "Good Ole Boys" (Good ole boys starch their jeans and have crisp creases running down the length of the legs.) and Frank, we have "White Trash", as well. The latter is fairly self explanatory. You might want to re-catagorise the folks you described earlier.

Sorry 'bout that, but they all run around in lynard skynard shits with confederate flags on them,
call themeselves "rednecks" or Hillbillies, so what else would you call them? Maybe I need to move to a higher class neighborhood, but I pay, not the state, I pay around 1,500 / month for my two sons I had while "fooling around" in college. Not something I'm proud of but I love my boys.

A Hillbilly is someone from Kentucky or the Hills.. my father, husband and both sons are hillbillies... and proud of it! (Mom on the other hand was born in NC and raised in PA.)

A am from southeastern NC, a tarheel.. and had my fill of the type of white trash you speak of.. but that isn't what a redneck was originally, LongStreet is right. Down there you had white trash and black trash, and yes there are some of them as well.. my opinion of black people came from growing up and going to school with them.

Am I a redneck, Nope I am a southern lady, a Christian. I never got into the modern day "redneck" white trash thing (any you don't have to be poor to be white trash).. never could understand why someone would want to get stinking drunk and either fight or have a one timer with someone just to wake up and realize they couldn't remember a thing..totally stupid if you ask me. And if you do live around that type, I would suggest moving, we did. However.. I do support the Confederate flag and the heritage it stands for, unfortunately too few understand what that is.

My husband was in the Carpenters union and when the plant he worked at closed so did the union reps. open door policy.. the other union was the United Mine Workers.. sure the pay was a few dollars more per hour than non union guys, but he made up for the raise in the dues he had to pay. He tried to find jobs through those unions but no one would help.. maybe they found out he was a republican.. Around here the union jobs are known for working a while and then layoff, fortunately many do get called back, though some don't. What kind of life is that being laid off months at a time? And you can't get a union job unless you have a family member or good friend help you get in (hubby has been trying to get into one of those jobs for years and NO ONE will help him).. so if'n you do want to see people get into the union jobs.. don't just tell them to go get them.. help some why don't ya.

And hey I live in Kentucky now and would gladly trade my white neighbors (though they aren't exactly white trash, they just like to argue with everyone) for a decent black or decent LEGAL hispanic or other immigrant family.. any day.

Frank,
I will commend you;you're paying
your child support.My sister's
bisexual,Liberal Democrat,waste of
tissue ex-husband couldn't be bothered. "No man tells me what to
do" he shouted as the bailiffs handcuffed him to start his sentence for contempt.

I appreciate the sentiment hoosier, really, but I shouldn't get commended for doing what I am supposed to do. Someone shouldn't get a performance raise in sallery because they show up for work on time, you are supposed to. The fact that this "guy" claims to be a Liberal Democrat is not a sign of what Dems. stand for. I am very Liberal and do not scurt responsibility. The problem is his "No man is going to tell me what to do" attitude. Was this not apparent to your sister before they got married? I am not blaming her, alot of things become self evident in hind sight. You should just say the guy is a piece of human debrit who just happens to be Bi-sexual and proffesses to be a Liberal Democrat. I was not picking on your wife or her family, I was only stating my neighbors, their actions and how they "label" themselves. And trash is trash, it doesn't matter what nationality or color they are, I call alot of Italians I know "Dumb Daigos" alot, and I'm 50% Italian, my dad is 100%, my mom is English, German, and Scottish. Funny thing is I don't drink.
