Democrats More Dangerous than Terrorists to US!

Democrats More Dangerous than Terrorists to US!

A nightmare come true is a two year old with a loaded gun. The toddler will wave that thing around and take great delight in watch everyone flee or jump for cover. Try to take the weapon from him and he will not defend himself. He will burst into tears and relinquish the weapon.

What I have just described for you is the Democrat party in charge of the US government. They are waving their power about, bullying anyone who will allow them, and when accosted… they complain loudly that anyone who does not flee or seek immediate cover is attacking them. Rather than defend themselves, and the US, they will cower and allow the nations enemies to broach our borders and wreak havoc here in the US.

I watched Nancy Pelosi waving the speaker’s gavel around when she was sworn in and I thought then it would be apropos if the gavel was taken away and a baby rattle was placed in her hand instead.

I have often described the Democrat leaders in Congress and "old hippies" and "flower children" from the 60’s… and they are, but I’m beginning to think I was overly generous. The US House of Representatives resembles nothing so much as it does a kindergarten these days. If there is an adult present, one is hard pressed to find him.

Those of us who have been casting ballots in the US for over 40 years have learned who to trust with the security of the nation and it became clear to us, early on, that it ain’t the Democrats. When pressed by another country’s military the Democrats will turn tail and run. Need proof? Just look at the bill passed in the house this week to cut off funding for our troops serving in Harm’s Way in Iraq. Some Americans soldiers, some American Marines, some American Airmen, and quite likely, some American naval personnel, will be killed as a direct result of what the Democrats did last week in the US House.

Oh, you say, it will never become law because the President will veto it. I hope he does, but the very fact that the Democrats had the temerity to pass such a blasphemous document has already emboldened our enemies. For now they KNOW what they formerly only suspected… and that is...the Democrat controlled government of the US will open the doors to this land… and let them in. All they have to do is keep their war efforts at a minimum and wait til the troops are taken out of Iraq. Then they can over run the country, as the North Vietnamese did in Viet Nam, and then it is on to concentrate on the Great Satan, in America’s own front yard.

Now let me tell you the dirty little secret the Democrats are not telling their supporters: US troops are not coming out of Iraq anytime soon, in 2008 or even 2010. The US has built a huge military installation in Iraq, which the US intends to occupy and maintain a continual military presence there, into the future, as far as the eye can see. US Troops will be continuously "forward deployed" there as well as war fighting material. If Iraq is turned completely over to the terrorists the conflict there will become a regional conflict and no one wants that… not even Iran, and Saudi Arabia, or even Syria.

Everyone with a lick of sense knows that even if we pulled every US soldier from Iraq today, it would only be a short while before those troops would have to ferried right back into Iraq.

So what if the Iraq war turns into a Middle Eastern Conflict? Well, do you own a car, a truck, heat your home in winter, and buy groceries from a grocery store? OIL, dear reader, OIL! The Middle East is the storage tank for the US’s OIL! Without it our economy will collapse in a matter of months! Sure we have our own oil but the lefties won’t let us go get it. So China is gonna set up rigs in the Gulf of Mexico and suck that oil right out of the seabed and most likely sell it back to us at inflated prices! How smart is that, lefty? Huh?

America wanted the wimps of the left in power and we got ‘em. Boy, how we got ‘em! Now, our own stupidity is going to beat us severely about the head and shoulders with something called reality. And… the reality is… The dems can’t govern effectively, they cannot “secure” the nation as they have never, in their entire history, proven themselves strong on National Security, they have no concept of military power and it’s use, they do not understand force, nor the application of force, and they are filled with a raging lust for power. Once they have it, as has been proven already in the US House, they become drunk on it and weave about crashing into things like the Constitution and Freedom. They may not crush them but they certainly will damage both the Constitution and Freedom. Their ineptitude at governance glares at one, as does a neon sign at midnight.

Last week the Democrat’s cozzied up to the Environmental Movement’s far “nut wing”, the global warming crowd, which has become the new home for the Commies of the world. Why dosen't this surprise this ole country boy?

As this past week ended, it became clear that the objective of the Democrat Party is to create as much confusion and derision in the government, and the country as a whole, as they can maintain control of. Their intent seems to be to keep the fires of that discontent stoked until at least November of 2008. It is an old ploy, right out of the history books, but it IS effective, especially when used on an uneducated society such as the “Public School Educated” American society.

For all intents and purposes, America has just entered a period we may well see recorded for future students of America. This period will be known as “The American Dark Ages”!

And the American Electorate turned the lights out!

What party was the last president from who actually won a Declared War? Who was the last president with the "Stones" to go to Congress and ask for a Declaration of War? What party was he from? How many nations were defeated by this Commander in Chief? And finally, how long did it take for him to win? Enough said.....

Frank, I understand everything you have said above. BUT... here's my chief complaint:

The caliber of the men and women who fill those seats in the House and the Senate has so deteriorated that they no longer have the courage to declare a war. They sought to side step their power to declare war when they passed the "War Powers Act" back in the Nixon adminstration.

Yet, they absolutely insisted on voting to give Bush the OK to make war on Iraq. That,as you know, is a matter of record.

The current Congress we have is so spineless, I'm talking of BOTH parties now, they simply don't have the courage to do what is necessary to declare and/or win a war anymore. As a result, my friend, we have needless deaths of our precious military personnel while they bicker back and forth for political advantage.

This Congress is a piss-poor excuse for any group of Americans...period.

I have a suspicion you might actually agree me on this.

Best regards,

Longstreet

My main complaint has been that our "leadership", when it comes to war, any one after WWII, doesn't want to engage the population and let us all have an active stake in the war. Any president who told people after an attack on our soil to go shopping is horrible. My mother and father were alive during WWII, although not old enough to serve in WWII, my father did so in Korea, they told me about black outs, fuel rations, rubber drives and the like. Our "leadership" today is more concerned with keeping us at walmart and our media is more concerned over drug addicted singers and play-boy bunnies than actual "goings on" in a war zone. Until more than a few thousand families (those of our troops) are called apon to sacrifice and be engaged to help win a war, I can't support that war, for it is not even treated as a war by those waging it, they treat it more like a diversion, and I am more curious about what my attention is being diverted from.....
About this congress, I actually feel bad for the Dems. The're caught between "Iraq and a hard place". They were called apon to end the occupation of Iraq and people from a fringe group are now bad mouthing them because they won't cut funding to our troops. Am I a lefty? most defenitley, but I also know that just because you cut off spending doesn't mean the troops will come home.... They will be left there, unarmed, un supported (fiscally), by the president so he can say, "see what the liberals do." I am liberal sir, but I know a little about politicians, especially about the worst kind of politician, and the worst kind isn't a liberal or a conservative, no sir the worst politician (biggest liar) is a "Career Politician".

“Our media is more concerned over drug addicted singers and play-boy bunnies than actual "goings on" in a war zone.”

Frank, you do raise a good point. While the death of Ms. Smith was a tradgedy, as any death is, it pales into relative obscurity compared with the ongoing deaths in Iraq and Afghanistan. The main item on the news here was the murder of Bob Woolmer, Pakistan Cricket coach, not the detention of 15 UK military personel by Iran. I guess society is the same the world over, or at least the media is – just keep telling everyone things are great and eventually they will start to believe it.

I would agree with your post and definitely agree with the comments above, there's only one problem.

President Bush has shown very definitively that he is incapable of leading our country and our troops.

Ten years ago if you had described his actions and philosophies I would have guessed that he was an ineffectual Southern Democrat.

He is a good example of someone that can not do and in the military that I served in those that can't lead get out of the way.

As things are moving right now, it looks like the Democrats are going to get the opportunity to see if they can be any better or any worse than Bush. That's a pretty low bar to compare themselves against.

When I served in the Army from 91 - 95, I never thought I would see a President worse than Bill Clinton. Then Bush came along.

Sure wish Dole had won, or McCain during the primaries, then we would n't have this type of problem.
